Keepin' the Beat

When John was about 7-8 his older brother, Charlie, who was in high school had a rock band. Sometimes he would take John with him when he would go practice. John would sit in front of the bass drum so it wouldn't slide. John isn't sure if the band really sounded good or not but the drums did and he's never had a problem with keeping the beat.
