During all my growing up years I always enjoyed visits to my Grandpa and Grandma Payne's house in New Mexico. My Grandma Payne is an exceptional cook. Everything is always so delicious. One thing that I could never really understand was why the peanut butter was always on the breakfast table. It was strange to me that my Grandpa would always put peanut butter on his toast, pancakes or waffles with syrup. Now these several years later (we won't discuss how many several) I find that I have recently developed a taste for the very same thing. I don't know if it's an age thing, if sugar just get to me more now, or if it was just something I have been missing out on all these years.

everything's better with peanut butter on it! (as long as it's not the recalled peter pan which is currently the cause of some salmonella outbreak)i think it's the mix of sweet and salty that i really like about adding peanut butter to things.
