Sunday Afternoon Photography

I am not sure why he thought I deserved it, but John bought me a new camera for an anniversary/Christmas present. Today I spent the early evening at the park near our house.

I have been very interested in the Canadian geese that winter here. It is interesting watching the different formations they take, even at rest. Ian helped me get this "in flight" picture with some scare tactics. Glad they didn't turn the tables on him since he was outnumbered.
I have always loved sunsets, guess that comes from growing up on a hill in the country with nothing blocking the view.Ian did good as a model to add some "human interest" to the sunset on the water.
Thanks for the camera dear. I'm lovin' it!
