Usually during the summer we have quite a few hummingbirds buzzing around our yard. They have developed a unique relationship with John, seeming to recognize that he's the one that fills the feeders. On this particular weekend in January we had a good snow. This little guy kept buzzing around to check out the white stuff and would land on the same little twig. I got about a dozen pictures of my subject sitting still except to turn his head from side to side. It was hard to pick, but I think this picture is my favorite.
