One day Claire came from dance telling us that the President of the United States wanted her dance class to dance at the Capital Christmas tree. I'm thinking "they want us to get her to Washington, D.C. on this short notice?" (with this particular dance group that would be how it would go down).
The real story was that the Capital Christmas tree which was from Arizona this year would be passing through town and would be stopping briefly with a short program where Claire and Chloe's classes, along with others, would perform.
It was a really cute performance. Too bad my batteries died right before I got a chance to video their dance.
